A General Overview of Kuzey Kıbrıs TURKCELL;

Kuzey Kıbrıs TURKCELL began to serve its subscribers as an foreign associate of Turkcell Communication Services Inc. on August 3, 1999. They have managed to increase the number of subscribers throughout the years by offering various quality, mobile sound and data transferring services.

Since its establishment, Kuzey Kıbrıs TURKCELL has aimed to build on its foundations by keeping abreast of the newest technology in the mobile communication sector and providing it to their subscribers as it continues to develop, enabling subscribers to have more relaxing lives by saving them time and helping them reach information quickly.

Kuzey Kıbrıs TURKCELL subscribers will be able to use 3G (3rd Generation) technology by this November. As the changes in the technology sector and rapid data transfer technology come about, such services as "GPRS EDGE", "MultiMesaj", "TURLA, ŞİRKETİM" can be offered to subscribers as self-contained individual packages.


 Awareness of Social Issues...

Besides their commercial efforts, Kuzey Kıbrıs TURKCELL also believes that social awareness benefits the public and supports education, the environment, culture, art and sports. Kuzey Kıbrıs TURKCELL's desire is to develop qualified individuals and promote socio-cultural living. A total of 6 million TL has been spent for sponsoring donations and aid to public organizations.
